This is the theme shown in the Great Wall of Los Angeles, done in 1976 and is said to be the world’s largest mural, with 13’ x 2500’. The mural is a combined effort of the community and several artists that took five summers to complete. I think that her painting is just not a painting or a piece of art but something that brings to mind what one wants to achieve for life, for the community and for the world in general. In the end, I see that there is a taint of activism in mural works, but at the same time provides portrayals of nationalism in the way she carried out all of her
